Choose Observe Context on the home page or a window in the Case library. Mark a horizontal reference or bounded zone, or choose Not at a key area. Confirm location before selecting a candle or adjacent pair. Measurements show the visible OHLC geometry. Write direction evidence, location evidence, a trigger and counter-evidence, then seal the observation. Reveal context and subsequent bars separately.
Knowledge index contains 12 lessons with a chart operation and two self-checks each. The independent review adds 12 further questions. Glossary searches 20 terms and aliases. Incorrect formal answers create misconception entries. Two consecutive correct formal re-answers mark a cause as mastered while retaining the first error. Reading an explanation does not count as a formal correct answer.
Open Preferences, select Import CSV, and choose a UTF-8 file up to 10 MB with at most 10,000 data rows. The header is timestamp,open,high,low,close,volume; the volume column may be omitted or values left blank. Timestamps must be ascending and unique, using dates throughout or ISO8601 timestamps with offsets throughout. Prices must be positive and obey OHLC ordering and the selected tick size. Preflight shows the first five rows, row count and exact errors. Nothing is imported until you confirm.
Drafts save locally after a short editing pause and when the app backgrounds. If saving fails, keep the screen open and free device storage before retrying. Preferences can export and preview a context-practice-v2 backup up to 50 MB. Active observations become clipped read-only snapshots in backups. Existing IDs are kept during merging. Clear data requires two confirmations, removes personal practice data and keeps bundled teaching content. Uninstalling can delete local records; export a backup first.
Candle colors always have Up, Down or Flat text alternatives. Use Data table for OHLC values and bar selection. Zoom and earlier/later buttons provide alternatives to chart gestures. Preferences provides System, Light and Dark themes and reversed candle colors. iPhone Dynamic Type and device orientation are supported. If a layout issue occurs, include the device model, iOS version and text-size setting in a support report.
Core practice is offline. Privacy, Terms and Support load over HTTPS from Cloudflare Pages. If a page fails to load, retry or choose Read offline copy. No observation text is sent to the legal site. Restart the app if a page remains unavailable; do not delete the app to fix a page unless your records have been backed up.
The current project contact is candlecontext@support.com, an unverified placeholder rather than a confirmed monitored mailbox. A working contact must be finalized before store release. When a real support channel is available, include the app version, device and iOS version, steps to reproduce and any exact error text. Avoid sharing financial credentials or a full backup; redact private notes from screenshots. We cannot restore local data that was deleted without a backup.
